What are the airports in Portugal

Aeroporto Internazionale di Lisbona (LIS)
Lisbon International Airport, also known as Portela Airport, is Portugal’s main airport and the country’s largest airport. It is located about 7 km north-east of Lisbon city centre and offers direct flights to destinations worldwide, i.e. domestic, continental and intercontinental flights.
The airport has a wide range of services, including:

In recent years, the airport has grown larger and larger and for this reason there are countless shuttle buses connecting the terminals on site. Lisbon Airport is well connected to the Lusitanian capital by numerous means of transport including metro, buses, taxis, trains and private transfer services. We recommend the metro line, which is cheap and fast and can be taken by following the signs outside the airport.
Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport Porto (OPO)
Porto’s Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is located about 11 km northwest of the centre of Porto and offers direct flights to and from destinations around the world. Porto Airport is medium-sized and well equipped with a wide range of services including:
- duty-free shops
restaurants - bars
- ATMs
- currency exchange services
It is connected to the city centre by an elevated train that departs and arrives in the immediate vicinity of the airport. It is not as fast as you might expect as it travels along an elevated route making countless stops in between. The distance is covered in about 40 minutes. Other means of transport are of
Faro International Airport (FAO)
Faro International Airport is located about 4 km southeast of Faro, the largest city in the Algarve region. The airport offers direct flights to many destinations worldwide and is the main gateway to the tourist region of the Algarve, an enchanting destination that you should visit at least once in your life. The Algarve region is one of the most popular tourist destinations for the British and UK public.
This airport is located about 4 km south of Faro, has many national and international airlines and serves popular coastal tourist destinations such as:

Funchal International Airport
Funchal Madeira Airport is one of Portugal’s main airports and serves the island of Madeira, a popular tourist destination located about 1,000 kilometres south-west of Portugal and the birthplace of Portuguese international football star Cristiano Ronaldo.
The airport is well located about 10 kilometres south-east of the centre of Funchal, the island’s main city, and has many international destinations, including many European cities. Most of the airlines flying to Funchal Madeira are European airlines and the majority of flights are internal to major cities in Portugal such as Porto or Lisbon.
Beja International Airport
Beja Airport (BYJ) is an airport located about 10 kilometres northwest of Beja, a city in southern Portugal. This airport mainly serves the Alentejo region, which is known for its natural beauty, historical villages and food and wine culture.
